Only vlog I can stand is Brett Barley ---his latest one is a lesson on late take offs and it's pretty damn interesting. A bit above my pay grade but interesting. Ya whatever happened to keeping spots to yourself? I have loads of spots in Mex that either noone one or very few people surf. When friends and other people I meet ask for the info I just say if you go with me you'll see otherwise gotta find it yourself. ....doesn't even really matter most people don't have the huevos to search stuff out these days anyway
Yeah I tend to surf the lesser known spots down there myself. People always ask me why I rent cars whenever I travel lol
Agreed with brett. His stuff is really mostly surfing. Very little talking. Real surfing. By a real pro.
A lot of the stuff Brett posts the limiting factor is ability. When its top to bottom and breaking in waist deep water it pretty much limits who can surf it. Even though I've surfed most of the East Coast spots he films its usually pretty hard to tell where exactly he is surfing. The Outer Banks is a big playing field and other than the lighthouse jetties you'll rarely see landmarks in his videos.
if my choices were: A. watch your "surf" videos or B. watch you get boo-foo'd to death by a coke'd up gorilla i would pick B.
