I'm not falling for anything or taking any bait, I make up my own opinions about things based on what a person says or does, not what the media pundits think or how much coverage they get. If another member of Congress said what she said, it would have gotten coverage too. Trump gets the press he gets because he's the President and they want to take him down. AOC gets the press she gets because she is possibly the least qualified and lowest IQ person to ever be elected, but hey she has a nice rack, and Omar gets press because she's a Muslim Extremist and a mouthpiece for Farrakhan and is a danger to our Country and if she isn't stopped she'll be running for POTUS before you know it. If others aren't getting press it's because they aren't as controversial or as big of a target.
But an assumption without evidence none-the-less. I have many assumptions without evidence about many politicians, I just wouldn't present them as fact.
I don't have a problem with well-based assumptions. I bet before the end of 2019, she will speak of the benefits of Sharia Law to others. It is innate in her--it is stronger than her. She is no civil libertarian based on her anti-semitic comments, etc. One need go no further. Her intent is not honorable; it is malicious, filed with anger.
Rep Steve King comes to mind, I have read a lot of ludicrous crap that guy has said and it didn't get wall to wall coverage on Fox News.
If Sharia law was her goal why is she a supporter of gay rights? Wouldn't she take a more "conservative" approach to the gays?
So you're telling me King is covered as much as AOC and Omar? Not from what I see Barry and he has said just as much, if not more stupid crap (he's been in congress longer).
Or maybe her strategy is to toe the party line until she is more powerful or possibly POTUS? If she comes out of the gate with votes for extreme policies too early the warning signs will be signaled fast and she'll be gone. Play nice for a while, gain power and influence, and then start introducing extreme policies once the lemmings are all in position. Is that too far fetched?
I do think it's a tad far fetched... She's so "muslim" that she can't hold back her antisemitism, but she's a gay rights advocate? If she was towing the line I would think she tone down the anti Israel stuff. I don't think she's "playing nice" at all. I do think she comes off as Muslim first, American second. But I think saying she will push for sharia law in the US is silly.
She isn't the only person on the left who has expressed anti-antisemitism if I recall. I think those apologists or sympathizers of hers are just as guilty too. The lack of action by the Democrats to discipline her directly is telling and instead they made up a phony attempt at condemning hate of all kinds. I agree with you that she is Muslim 1st, and American 2nd. I really don't think it's too far fetched to think that she would suppress extreme policies like Sharia Law until she was in a higher position of power. That just makes sense from a power grabbing stand point. Pick and choose your battles until you have the power you need to influence the masses. The gay thing is a huge deal to the Democratic base so if she stood against Gay people or gay rights, she wouldn't have been elected.
King isn't purposely trying an "in your face" strategy. The two bitches are. Believe me, in the long run, they will be no better off. Pendulums swing both ways. I am glad I will not be near them when the pendulum does swing their way; I would not want the moral obligation to yell for them to duck.
Correction, I believe she's Muslim 1st, last, and only. America is not something I believe she's proud of or believes in.
I get playing politics and choosing battles and not turning off gays, but she's actually advocating for them. I just looked at her website (hope that doesn't get me on a list) and there's a section devoted to LBGTQRSTUV rights. I just think it's a bit hypocritical to think that she's such an extremist that he can't hide her hate of the jews (who vote), but she can suppress her hatred of the gays and outright support them because they vote.
