Recently, if I am at my favorite coffee shop, if someone asks if they can join us, I ALWAYS now reply, "not if you are a democrat".

Of course she didn't hide. She had her strategy of lying down perfectly. She lied her way through the whole hearing.

 

For one, they have never had staffers ask the questions in the past, not once. So to set that precedent isn't a good thing to do. And two, where do you get this idea that they want to avoid the grandstanding? That clown with the chicken is all the evidence you need, because he grandstanded anyways. Face it, they've lost and there is nothing they can do but make up stupid rules that nobody with a brain would follow.

 

Didn't the Republicans use a staffer during the Kavanaugh hearing? So it is not unprecedented. Sad excuse.

 

That happened in the Senate, not the House. It's never happened in the House.

 

And it was one lawyer who specialized in sexual assault. She didn't take anybody's place in asking their own questions if I recall. And they didn't bring in a whole team of them either.
