Hopefully, but my family is old school European and would frown on me having ''fun' while he's not well.
They don't get that's its my therapy as much as anything.

bit of a scurry out there, but a some nice waist to stomach hi sets in the moving water this morning. had the first one out there on a nice line to my left and fell kinda short on the rest. Just didn't get on the peak on most of them and the others were short filled or on me for not shredding what i got. roundtail prolly wasn't the best performer out there. one of the guys i was with had his LB and was finding all kinda lines. wish i had more time to make another round of it, but it was a gift anyhow with how these last few weeks been shaking out. looking for another rideabout it tomorrow early during hi tide, keep em coming

stealth wind swell blows up a 4-6 foot 8sec (buoy) E/ENE/NE in 24 hours to produce some fun looking DOO DOO in OCMD today.

    NADA SURF

My buddy Mad Mike just got back from Nica, got mad barrels in the OH to DOH range. I remember when he was a grom long time ago and took him out at TOH Reef Road during Isabel. He was freaking out. Now he is killing it.

He sent me pics it looks gnarly with heavy tubes.

It's cool to see The Stoke keep rolling. Life is goode...

As blown a forecast as i've seen in ages.

Forecast even all day today - is 2-3 foot south windswell with sw winds all day
Conditions - 4-6 foot northeast swell with E winds all day.

Unexpected head high sloppy conditions. Surfed two sessions in it

My buddy testing out a 5'7" EPS/Epoxy board i shaped with him in mind. He said its a keeper.

Yea it was primarily SE swell though it seems...with some background NE mid period. Seems like the models have a hard time picking up those mid period systems that move off the coast then days later produce swell...I think LB is working on an app for that.

It actually went offshore from VB to Rodanthe for a period today and looked fun!

Unfortunately I was making a living! Your Stoked on some chunks in mid June!!!

Speaking of forecasts, does anyone know why the winds aren't populating on the SI forecast graph starting next Wednesday?

Interesting sesh this evening. Was expecting 2- 4 ft and off shore clean conditions. Found larger surf with onshore winds. Rideable but only the sets were breaking due to the high tide.

A reggae band started playing at a bar and you could hear the music from the line up. The band was really good and made the inconsistent surf enjoyable.

The winds completely died around 8pm. The surf smoothed out and the tide dropped a bit. Most people left at this point. Surfed glassy orange waves with only a few other surfers.

Scored a nice little barrel with a clean exit. At about 820pm a storm front rolled in. A dark storm wall blacked out the remaining sunlight. I continued to surf for 20 minutes and was the last person to exit the water

had a nice run n gun after work to the Washout. took out my 7'2 Hog Molly fish which is on its last days. textured swell round thi to rare waist. not too crowded. lefts n rights plentiful in the right spots, which i was in rather than the morning session yesterday. got outta there after a couple hours to grill out n make my way to the bar scene for the Finals game. a good night to an end of a shtty day at work. looking forward to a solid beach bum day tomorrow

Yes it did! I snuck outta work around noon and hit up Croatnam in VB. Forecast was calling for thigh to waist, turn out to be solid waist to chest with the occasional shoulder high set. SW offshores (which the spot i was surfing does well with) kept faces clean, and it was even offering a small barrel off of a couple of the bars. There was enough swell in the water that it kept the crowd fairly spaced out, so I had no problem catching waves - outside of my friend that feels a deep need to paddle for every single wave that I do. surfed for 3 hours and caught more waves than I can count. Super relaxed vibe in the water, plus it's warm. was riding that new keel fish, and had a blast. That little board is so fast. It's pretty much all I've been riding lately.

Got out yesterday afternoon in some inconsistent high tide 2-4' with onshores making it a little lumpy/choppy. For some reason I selected the 5'8" RNF and while I got some rides I felt a little off my game, like a step behind the waves. It is the least volume board I own...
