    Back in the day there was a bum on the boardwalk who would watch the surf. He'd be there every morning. He had a plastic bag tied to the railing to determine wind speed and direction. Ot worked really well, super advanced.

    Mr. B and his daughter are coming down this weekend. Been eyeing the forecasts, there might be some windows of lower wind speeds. Hopefully. Maybe early, maybe late. Maybe not at all. But we will be sitting and waiting for sure. It's kind of exciting that the forecast is missing. Makes me feel like a kid in a way.

    Hope the rest of you, as well as I, get a window of opportunity

    yeah...30 knots is no good. I really like Wind Guru for wind forecasts. Especially when they are saying 14 knots!
