    there is something big looming down here in the Carolinas. I'm hoping it holds till i come back the day after xmas. please stay. Temps are coming up to the 70s, seems like a jolly ol time. hope you guys get some regardless next week. merry xmas everyone

    I'm thinking weak stomach high if we are lucky. Could be fun on a log at the right beach if you have low expectations and there aren't 3 other surfers fighting for what few waves there will be. Very slim chance of waist high leftovers on Thursday morning but wind will be sideshore by 9:00.

    I'm not really seeing the long period stuff happening tomorrow, at least for the morning. The buoys down south east of VA and OBX are just showing 6 second wind swell...I would think tomorrow's longer period SE swell up here should already have arrived down there.

    scored a few yesterday. was supposed to clean, was... took out the logs on 8th E on Folly. some drift, going to high tide. bout stomach hi, textured, crumbly. been soft all this week from the looks of it. twas sumtin to ride. turkey day was betta, but should have a little sumtin carry over this wknd. hope all had a good time and made it safe travelin out n bout
