Thanks. It's our second Tesla. My wife got the Model 3 last December and we love it. Cost about a 1/3 to charge it compared to the cost of gas. It's super fun to drive too.

Just did my first surf session with it and the RFID/NFC ring locking and unlocking worked flawlessly.

 

Damn I want to drive a Tesla (or any other crazy fast AWD EV) someday. The Model3P is just insane. Hopefully someday there will be an 4x4 EV that I can fit a 10' surfboard inside. That would be my dream ride.

By the way, that whole ring deal is awesome.

 

The Model3P is what we test drove and we got the LR AWD with the Dual Motor and it doesn't feel that different from the Performance. But man, I tell you what. It's like driving those electric go-carts, but on HGH, steroids and Blue meth. The acceleration from standing is super fun, but you don't really appreciate the immediate torque until you are in traffic on the freeway and you need to make a move. You hit it and you go. Like, right now, right now go. It's the most fun driving experience I have ever had.

As for the 10' board, you are going to have to wait a bit. I have a 9'6" that may never get ridden again unless someone else takes it to the beach for me.

2014 Acura RDX sport utility - there's a hitch on it to make some stupid 2021 decisions. Pretty cool seeing this thread and me posting about 6 months ago. Yep, i've been looking that long and only struck out once but that ride in Florida cost extra with paying both SC and FL taxes - weird law in FL but i guess it makes up for no income tax somehow - not sure. Picked it up out of Duluth, GA over the wknd. Stayed in Athens, cool f'n college town - my first visit. Lotta college kids were gone for their long holiday break and there was no Georgia football game that wknd, so i could afford a dwntn hotel. Did catch myself in one college bar at like 7pm, then those kids just started swarming. Me and the owner were the oldest ones in there for like an hour, but otherwise i found some divier spots and ppls my age having a good time. Anywho, imagine some roof racks on that RDX; it's got a black interior and sunroof. And it's fast, good to be in a V6 again - real good

 

sidetracking here, but i heard black swarm = butthole attacking pornstar. just a heads up for those with kids out there

OK, this is going to look like bragging. And it sorta is. But there's a thread for this and I love my new van. It's a used 2016 sprinter van that used to be used as a passenger van for tours and corporate events, is my guess. I plan on doing a simple conversion when I find the time. So far I've used it for 3-4 trips down to SoCal to camp and surf. I also use it to just run down to the local beach. Love it. Also pictured is a great book on camp and surf spots in CA. Very handy.

 

yea, didn't even notice the tint until i got there. It's in pretty good shape and that was the plan. I don't usually hotbox the vehicle anymore thanks to those cartridges, still got mine from Cali last month. Not a fan of the vape honestly, but it gets the job done and less suspicious in the eyes the 5-O
