Hi everybody, two days ago I bought a brand new wetsuit and the day after, when I was on the water, found out that it has some fuzzballs on some areas. These are some pictures I took that show the situation: Does anybody now how could this happen? Is this something to worry about? Don't know if I need to ask for a change in the place where I purchased it... Thanks! Pablo
Fuzzy Wuzzy. . . That's exactly it Pablo. Velcro will stick to nearly anything with a nap on it, as it's intended to. If you pulled the suit off inside out, the neck velcro probably grabbed some of the nylon on the way past. Not a warranty claim by any means, and it won't compromise the effectiveness of the suit. Just remember, a wetsuit is a functional piece of equipment, not a fashion statement. Well. . . sort of for most of us. Just make sure you rinse it thoroughly and it will last you until you grow out of it.
Thanks Swellinfo and MDSurfer for your quick response. Now that you tell me that about the velcro I'm not sure of how it happened because I don't remember of touching those areas with any velcro part
it can happen quite easily. I have them all over my suits. I wouldnt worry too much about it. Just be conscience now of the Velcro in your suit and when you put it on try to avoid the Velcro clinging on to your suit.
