Have a GoPro and used the adhesive mount that came off. Is it possible to get a fin plug mounted through a bodyboard? Id put it up front to keep the cam secure

im pretty sure for bodyboards they do not say to use the adhesive mount, im almost sure your suppost to hold the camera down with two leash plugs through the mount

no6rider is correct. I have the GPHD & have it mounted with 2 leash plugs drilled thru round mount plate. I haven't taken any pics of my board setup yet or had a chance to use the cam in the water.

Here is a link to a friend of mine in Aus (doclach) with vid of how to mount.

The adhesive mount is definitely not sufficient to use alone on a bodyboard!

You can use the surf expansion kit. You'll need to customize it a bit like you see in Chuck's vids (see additional illustration below) and mount it with two leash plugs, but be careful, this is only a suggestion and this method is not endorsed by GoPro, so its technically at your own risk. No matter what, I always rig a 2nd tether to whatever I am mounting it to, just in case the main mount snaps or is lost somehow, but so far so good.

You might also consider a helmet mount. We stock both at AtlanticBodyboards.com and if you mention swellinfo.com we'll give you a 10% discount off MSRP.

Here's an illustration on how to mount it to a bodyboard (sorry for the huge image)

Bob, the link or illustration is not working. For me anyway.
