Hey everyone, I'm new to the site and i hoping to gain as much possible knowledge as i can on Surfing the texas coast. First things first, where is the best place to buy a good NEW longboard. I'm looking to hit Corpus Christi or Galveston areas for the best selections and deals. Any feedback is greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!!!
Buy an Up You Coast Board... made for tx in tx.. Or do like the rest of texas surfers and see a kelly Slater pic surfing costa or cali and buy a board that surfs well on good surf and try to surf tx with it..
I am not tx mex but i am on gulf. get a fun board you can grow into. rides all waves on gulf for the most part. i ride a 6'8 fish and have learned fine. kinda big but still fits in compact car. has speed and manuerverabilitry (sp)
