Good news: Surfers quoted in the Anna Maria Island Sun have convinced Manatee County to save Twin Piers - at least two of the three piers (why isn't it called Triple Piers?!). Bad news: there's a $1.2 million money problem. Keep the stoke going and comment here (if you want your name in the paper, include it)!

Coincidence or what Nice....Picked up a copy of the sun yesterday (island sun newspaper) and realized they were not joking about putttin a name in the paper....the "surfer" (in the pic)coulda used the name johnnytoobad. That was me paper people out back of "happy Ours " rentals, near where jam rocks used to be.Secret spot.... So What can we do collectively if the funding doesnt come thru? has funding been allocated yet?
