Great shots man. Some really cool perspective work-like the pulled back stuff. Love some of the work away from the water. Especially the two guys on the truck. Not sure why but that one was pretty cool. Looks like you scored too. Call that a pretty darn good time. Some of the brown rivermouth (?) shots reminded me of home here in CB. Well, except for the wave part...please please please send waves... Thanks for sharing www.notesfromthenorthend.wordpress.com
awesome photos dude. looks like you guys got some great days. pic 174 is my favorite; sick changey color wave action. ps. i am one of the 2 dudes that was checking bags with you guys at myrtle beach airport on the 12th
sonny, I appreciate the comments as I'm always curious to know which photos stand out to different people. We caught it fun for a few days and then had rainy onshore winds for a few days. Had a great trip though! Will be going back during dry season. Yah, we were at a rivermouth. headhigh, appreciate it man!! Were you one of the guys going to CR? If so, how was it? Hope you caught it good!!
WOW! Must have been an incredible trip. The beaches don't look crowded at all... Random question: What airline did you fly?
Yup, you got it. i am the younger of the CR dudes ha. Got up to 10ft at 19 seconds and clean where we were. It was a heavy, heavy wave. They weren't joking about it being the rainy season either... we were near a river mouth too, when it would rain the waves would get all warbally/brown. A trip back in the dry season is key. We had a rocky, right point about 5 minutes walk from our house, almost completely sheltered from the wind... i'm having frontside withdrawals haha We are going Nic for our next trip, or maybe ES.
Austin, the trip was awesome! The beaches never really got too crowded. The 2nd peak would get a crowd on it, but other than that, it was pretty spread out. HH, heard really good things about ES. If you're a goofy, then Nica will be the perfect destination. Sounds like you had an awesome trip though. I'm ready to go back!!! viva, Thanks!! used a Canon 7D with 100-400 for beach shots and Canon 50D with 10-22 for watershots.
