Hey shupat don't be a Debby Downer. You just have to nut up and ride that chunky mess. Bust out the flying pig and go for it.
yeah, i think some chest-head high waves, even if choppy will still be pretty fun.. nws saying 4-6 ft
next update should show more height... but just depends on how your spots handle the E wind swell and how picky you are
Sorry man... But your wrong... Your gonna wanna find a beach that faces anything but due west. An east swell hitting a west facing beach will usually be too walled up, and close out a lot. That is why South and North swells work so well on west facing beaches, because the angles equal to a nice peeling wave... Plus with the south east winds, I would look for a break that faces north.
yeah... for starters you will be hard up to find a west facing beach in the mid atlantic haha. Also, you dont necessarily have to find a north or south facing beach, just a jetty or pier to split those walls. good luck, hopefully i wont see you at my not so secret spot.
Bottom line, probably won't know what it's gonna be like this weekend until getting to the water...I'm being optimistic...need a wave
