wow, i'm surprised you checked that spot (and even more surprised that swell was showing). after seeing it near lb and deal, the last thing i would have thought about was checking further north.

I got one of the best tubes in a long time today and i here a guy in the foam saying "YO" at me so I said "yo your self " and came out the tube and pulled out of the wave. All morning it was a zoo but what ya gonna do I guess" SWELLINFO moderator says he got tubed too, are you guys claiming he is off his rocker too? is the moderator a kook? I doubt it...
he snaked somebody. let it go. Like I said earlier, lots of people got skunked and they don't what to here how good it was where you were.
haha about the moderator, i guess he did snake somebody, and that is a kook criteria. Your right pumpster, i think its time I buried this one...
As far as I concerned - anything chest high or better for a couple of days in a row was pretty cool. You just needed to be at the right spot at the right time because it didn't last long. - Put some miles on checking out spots to find one going off. Hope we all get some over the next few weeks.

No wonder SH has gotten so freaken crowed. Secrets are only kept secrets if you keep your damn mouth closed. Why don't you just go ahead and post pictures, a map, and GPS location to the place. Unless you want to surf "one part of SH not commonly surfed" with 300 of your closest friends, I suggest SHUTTING THE F*CK UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sooooo. to change the topic, what Island was that on leethestud... Was it cobb or smith??? And by the way I think that looks fun as hell!!! And I'm not trying to one up ya, but ive scored cobb probably 3 feet bigger than that, and just rifeling barrles like indo or something... Personlly I would have surfed smith island on this swell, but thats just me... Anyways those pics are sick and Im sure you had more fun than I did getting dropped in on by kooks all weekend...
Watch the scene from waynes world, u tell 2 friends, they tell 2 friend, then they tell 2 friends and so on. I've been surfing this "lesser surfed spot" for years and I have seen a increase in the crowd. Point being if you want it to stay a lesser surfed spot then dont post stupid stuff like this on forums.
Toms cove. When we got there, 7am-ish, me, my friend, and 2 lifeguards traded perfect lefts for about 3 hours before the lifeguards got out, manned their stands, and whistled us out of the water bc we were in a no surfing zone. I would have been pissed if I had the energy. They were good guys though (good surfers too), and i bet they had a long day of saving forum trolls who got too drunk and wanted to go for a swimmy-poo. Some serious currents between the sand bars. You should have seen Fisherman's island yesterday morning! I was half tempted to charter a boat for the day after a glimpse of perfect lefts racing off the the point. No boat no glory on that one though. Not a soul was on it, either.
I had a lot of fun Sunday morning at my spot, I knew it would hold up well there...tomorrow is my last day of work before a week vacation...I am amped, usually when I have a week off it's flat as a lake, but looks like there should be something in the water pretty much all week!
This is why I'll never post how good a day I had on a site......too many haters All I can say is that Saturday a.m. we had a blast, woke before the sun....drove up and down scoped out a bunch of spots, and did it up............. Left to see if it was better anywhere else and the northern sections were terrible........ Sunday was a clean up session, a bunch of walls and close outs, oh well its Jersey...... Just think how a few years ago we didn't have sites forecasting our days for us, when catching waves meant getting up at 3 a.m. and doing your own research....I still hold true to that..............and keep my stories between my friends
heard that, lesson learned. Everyone can hide behind a computer and hate away now-a-days. Damn shame...
It was firing today. I surfed Assateague, OC Inlet, 8th st, 15th st, 28th st, 48th st, 75th st, 86th st, 136th st, Fenwick, Bethany, and Dewey. I know these are secret spots, but I like to spread the love around a bit.
After getting repeatedly destroyed pulling in to super shallow close outs all morning I managed to find day light on two fun barrels. I payed for it but it was worth it.
I absolutely agree. The swell was not the moster that it was predicted but there were waves, better than what we have had most of the summer. Enjoy what you get and make what is there work for you. The were 100+ boards where I was at but I made it work for me. When the wind was right and the waves were not closing out, I paddled out past the weekend warriers and picked the waves I wanted. I am out alot so I have the paddle endurance. A set would come in to the north or the south of a spot and because there was a wave everyone would paddle to where the wave came in. I would head to the spot they just cleared and get a clean line all to myself. Its pritty funny actually. I has a blast eventhough it was not huge and it was crowded. I was not working, I was in the water, and that is when my head is the clearest and I am the happies!!! Big or small!!!!!!!!
Yeah I was off my rocker on on my board the whole weekend. Another guy on this forum was there if he logs in he would agree Yeah I snaked someone ........ So if some one is very deep in the foam to the point where the should go left instead of right and I am shacked up in a tube I snaked him ?????? Actually the guy who droped in on the shoulder and pulled out whe he saw me snaked me but I sprayed him to say hello
In the technical sense you snaked him but I would have done the same thing Plus at 2nd I would have snaked people just to start sh!t.
