Well on the Continetal engine that come with the M35 duece and a half it has to the option to be a Multi fuel motor . Meaning it can run on Diesel, Gas, Kerosen or even CNG
That is convenient if you own a fast food place or sell heating oil. For the average perso not so much... but fun to talk about
Saw a guy with one of those deuce and half's at an offroading spot close to my house, he was plowing over trees like it was nothing. Definitely looks fun as hell to drive and what you said about it being multi fuel makes it 100x better.
Its really easy to get even CNG or Propane . Most Fuel places sell Kerosen . Pluse a well Maintained vehical produces minimal emissions compared to a vehical that has had poor maintence its whole life
Matt, last Friday in CM there was a crew of guys who had a SICK Ford van. It was all black and lifted with a pop top camper roof, shower,tv etc. Did you see it at HQ or Povs?
Lmao, they had one of those come to Oregon Inlet down at OBX to tow my friends car off the beach since he hydrolocked it haha.
Nah I didnt see it . There is a guy who surfs CM that is local that has a Ford Econoline Van with a 6.4L powerstorke thats lifted and has 4 wheel drive. If I didnt have my Lando I would buy one of those as a daily driver
Yeah you can get them pretty cheap too depending in how much you can spend. You can get a fixer uper the drives for 1200 dolars and get a fully road worthy one with nothing road for 3k . The one pictured that has had the other tag axle cut off and the bed shortened and Bobbed can go for about 7k There is a guy in Lakewood , NJ named Jimbo that makes them
Ha, nice. I actually saw a Unimog on my way home from work one day: Made my CRX look even more like a toy. I know this truck and met its owner recently, he said after all the additions its worth $110,000. Worth every penny, that vehicle can be lived in and it looks awesome.
a neigbor out west had this company do up his ford econoline, was pretty pricey though: http://www.sportsmobile.com/4_4x4sports.html
