Definalty something that could work in a neutral location that is easy access for everyone. It would be nice to have it before it gets too cold either so people can take there famlies out for it or there could be food vendors there and maybe a band playing too.

Have the Harvey Cedars beaches finally recoueperated after that replenishment a couple years back? When I drove up there this summer it looked like it was almost there...

I vote OCMD..Its between NJ and VAB. Also we need a rule that says that anybody who shows, has to bring a 6 pack for Micah.

yeah just a boat ride across the bay . Most of us NJ folk can meet at the terminal its still a 120min boat ride and a 25 min drive

I would say some where in between ocnj and capemay would be sweet. Yea like matt said it's gonna have to be done before the end of oct. for sure so it's not to cold.
Does anyone wanna help me Set this up so we can put the details in stone and get the ball rolling

Harvey Cedars will be a dead zone for quite a few years folks, unless you skimboard.

Harvey Cedars is still messed up from the stupid beach replenishment BS. I think surf city would be ideal because its right at the entrance to the island and there are a few awesome breaks just a walk down from ron jon. LBI is perfect because its a neutral location and right in between OC and Cape May

LBI is not between OC and Cape May......Its further north than OC which is further north than Cape May....But I do agree that LBI is prime. It can hold a good swell and has a ton of parking thats free!!! However I do not know if its a neutral location. Its neutral for Jersey but not other states. But would def. be a good location because of access

    IMO
Doing a full Mid-Atlantic meet up isn't going to work.
No one from Jersey want's to leave the state. And, few people from DE, MD, VA are going to want to go to Jersey.

there pleanty for free parking now wherever you go it off season;)

I have no issue going to OCMD or someplace in Del or going north past AC. The ideal thing would have it someplace that has waves with the conditons we have the most. But wherever it is it will be a good turn out . Maybe get Surfrider involved and they can have a fall clean up slash surf harvest event or something along those lines. Have a raffle and have local surf shops donate some good to be raffled off and the proceeds can go to surf rider or another chaitable organization

I like everything except the Surfrider involvement.

lets just do it in ocnj thats as in the middle as were gonna get i think. I think it would be a good first attempt at this. If this works out we can do 2 next year one in jersey and another in md or something like that. hows that sound to everyone?
