not sure if this has been posted yet, but a friend showed me this Billabong search and win thing. I just set it as my homepage and use it whenever i need to search something. I think its awesome lol ill do anything for free surf gear
wait why would they sell our search info. its billabong not some sketchy get rich quick site and it does take alot of points to buy anything anyway
its like 1200 pts for a hat or something. you need to spend a good time searching their engine to get that many so they are getting tons of ad time and will have easily made profit by the time you cost them 30 bucks. i severely doubt its any type of scam or way to get info
seems pretty cool to me, even though its slower than google ill take the lack of speed for some free swag!
other people were posting in every forum a link to the search engine so they could get referral points.
volcom did the same thing, u waste a lot of time for very little prize. i pretty much substituted google and searched roughly 10x a day on theirs and after about 8 months i finished with a pair of socks and a beanie. Not worth it considering the search results suck
i think the results are the same as google, just more adds and not set up as well. I personally think its worth it but thats just me. i dont really care what im using as my search engine
