Need some buds to hang with

    Alright, I'm in my hometown in south jersey I have yet to find anyone who surfs or sponges. It sucks to go out alone almost all the time. I'm at LBI and everyone once in a while I go to OCNJ, and maybe further in the near future.

    Mainly right now I'm looking some people to hang out with in the LBI area, however this won't really be until late winter early spring in around march because that's when I'm getting my new equipment ^^

    If anyone's interested in meeting someone new, or in the same position as I am, I'm down for it.

    Thats kind of funny.

    But, seriously, I can't tell you how many of my good friends I've met in the water. Just striking up a conversation with people at your home breaks. If you surf the same breaks, you are sure to notice familiar faces...

    ive been to lbi twice and both times ive never seen anyone out in the water. basicly the only ppl u could be friends with there are old rich ppl walking around

    Yeah this is the thing, last time I was out I saw two 60 year old longboarding it, giving me dirty looks from time to time cause I'm not even 20 yet

    I ride LBI from time to time. Surf or boogie. Some good uncrowded waves.

    A bit off topic but I recently saw a movie called Endless Summer about a surfers who decided to travel all over the world following summer in order to catch a wave. Its was an inspiring experience and I would like to recreate their route. It would be nice to find companion for this adventure!!!
