anybody out this afternoon when the wind shifted from S to N? it was 70 and breezy from the s one minute and then - around 2:40 - it was like somebody flipped a switch and it started cranking out of the n and it dropped to 50 in seconds. crazy.
Yeah I was out from 2pm til 4ish . Was pretty fun for a hour and a half . Clean glassy chest high waves . definalty caught me by surprise
yeah same here. it was hard offshore and by the time i got my gear on the wind was on an angle. still had a fun time though.
I work out on the ocean, and have seen the wind do some really weird things before... like shifting to come out of every compass direction, 3 times over within 30 min. Literally Due N to W to S to E to N to W to S ext.
