"2. How big can a Wavegarden wave be?

It can technically be any size, although a maximum height of 1.6 metres is recommended"

    1.6 meters = 5.24934 '

A head high artificial wave... insane. I want to see videos of that.

I was thinking about trying to get a system in my pool in the yard.. but Its too small... We have to build one in NJ somewhere!!! we have to!! .. Im going to look into it,, but it will be secret spot. almost like a skatepark for surf.. One day its 8ft. o-head and the next day if you want its 1ft. That would be the dream!!

    Money for a Wave Garden

As I live bang in the middle of UK I've decided to sell my house to fun making a wave garden. I'm sure you all agree this is the most sensible thing to do!

Why haven't I moved to the coast yet?

i HATE the concept of wave pools. there is no need to try to duplicate mother nature because we never will be able to achieve that stoke of watching, praying, and waiting for a solid swell to finally line up and it actually coming through. wave pools will turn our sport into a NASCAR which is something i hope never actually happens. I saw screw wave pools and actually go surf the real thing

you have a good point it does get frustrating as hell waiting on the swell but when it finally does come, i can't imagine any other way of getting that natural stoke. thats just me. wave pools are cool but personally not my thing

they have the ability to produce larger more powerful waves, its just too expensive for whoever is paying for wavegarden. in the surfline article it said they cant operate it bigger than that without going below the minimum profit

yeah i read that and thought it was interesting because they don't go into the technology behind the waves. I wonder what they are doing to make those waves.
