    Just got a twitter account and I'm am curious to see if anybody follows any good surf report/surf industry accounts (other than the obvious ones) for surf reports, discussion, events, new etc... So far Im following SurfReports_NJ, Surfline and Transworldsurf...

    btw - my twitter handle is Geotubes (for what its worth)

    I "follow" the ASP surfers & some random porn stars. Kinda entertaining when your taking a dump.

    Most of the time that Im on it is when I'm sitting on the hopper, haha

    Never got into Twitter. I don't have time post every time I do a insignificant thing in my life

    i don't post but its fun reading crazy accounts like @mayoremanuel or @bronxzooscobra , i never really even thought about its surfing application...

    LOL, you do on swell info - Just kidding. ITs pretty cool, i wouldnt sit on a computer and "twat" all day, but if you have an app on your phone - It is pretty insightful - everything happens up to the minute.

    It can be a waste of time depending on how and what you use it for. If your following the Kardashins and the Jersey shore cast and tweeting about your dinner, then your wasting your time.

    On the flipside, if you follow useful media/news outlets (NPR news, XPN music, World Cafe concerts, job postings, surf Industry news and reports etc. then it actually becomes a powerful tool - that consolidates all of your media/news outlets into one list (instead of checking 5 or 6 different websites)

    I probably wouldn't have one if I didnt have an android...
