im dying to go surf already but i only have a 3/2, its a brand new Billabong Foil sealed Fullsuit. I know itll be cold but i was wondering if i bought this http://www.swell.com/Gear-Guys-Rashguards/XCEL-POLYPRO-LS-HOODED-TOP?cs=BL i could be warm. I would use that rashguard as an underlayer and put the 3/2 over it and wear the hood. i recently won a custom stamped beater and i cant wait to use it http://www.catchsurf.com/blog/2011/04/congrats-austin-scott/
were u the guy in the art contest thing earlier the month? sweet board. i dont think ur suitll be thick enough. on the same note anyone think you could pull it off with underarmor shirt and pants with suit?and maybe that other thing?
yea i was in the alternative use of the beater contest it just ended, im really suprised i won. this is the post of my entry and what i won http://www.catchsurf.com/blog/2011/04/congrats-austin-scott/
depending on your size and weight...sure. Also with the right boots and gloves...I think you could probably make it an hour and a half...if not more...
If you eager enough to use it youll go in the water, rash gaurd helps keep cold water from getting you all in one blast it helps,+ glad to see your art won you something nice like surfing that is a skill no one can take away
sick! that thing is finless, right? If you can play it off like its a body board the life guards cant say sh*t and you can surf alone mid-summer at the surfing restricted beaches. I saw some kid on one last year. I thought he was just captain awesome for catching and riding stand up waves on a body board, then I got a closer look at the board....
congrats on the contest dude! I voted for you....your welcome haha!! As for the wetsuit...give it a shot on a warm day. the sun makes it so much more bearable If its too cold just go back in your car and blast the heat
I had 2 sessions Wednesday with my 4/3.I should of wore my 5/4/3 thou. All depends what your tolerance is but myself I would wait a couple more weeks if thats all I had to roll with.
