You can thank the Bermuda high out to the east of us dominating the weather. That is why it is so hot and throwing all the nasty weather north of us. Until this thing moves on, it will be flatola.Looks to be this way a very long time unless it moves or a low develops south of us, which is unfavorable. Buy one of these cats, it is worth it on the beach if ya can't surf, these things are the shizzy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GBrhf4Kd774&feature=related

i may just have to get one of those...any idea of where to get one besides fleabay? Also, I wonder how hard it would be to upgrade one? I was looking around last night trying to find some, and some guy had the basic Surfer Lisa one but put all sorts of new things in it to get it to go 30mph and run for longer. I'm not much of a handyman, but I don't see how it could be too hard to do this.

Yeah, they started discontinuing some and some of the other versions are much more expensive. I have a boardshark which I actually need to upgrade and get some more torque behind it. I am going to try and take it by a hobbie shop. Here is the main website for one of em: http://www.rcsurfrider.com/store/

They are def. a little pricier. The one I have was like 50 bucks, but I need to make some adjustments on it. The KYOSHO model is apparently the most durable, Craigslist, might have some. Saw online where a guy was selling his for like a hundred and had extra parts for it including some very good chargeable batterries that last for a much longer duration.I would search around online though.

Toay was a blast at Skipper. I was there from 12:30 to about 4 and it was alot of fun. Consistent waist with clean faces, plus there was plenty to go around.

Today at crystal we had some rare chest high sets and glassy roll through but the chest high waves came at random times. But you could decently get a barrel on the chest high wave easily but they didnt come that often. But it was a good morning overall.

    lol none taken man.

the waves weren't 2 bad tday for me. i gues i missed the chest sets but i settled for some waist high shorebreak at c street aroun 12. wasnt bad, wasn't great...typical waves of the summer. i'd say it was worth it though.

Last night I surfed the south end of W.B. for a change, and while it was small it was still a lot of fun, I would saw some sets at least stomach high. This morning was also pretty good for the lonboard with some rare waist sets. I had it with just one other guy right next to mercers for 2 hours until the cops pulled up and told us we had to move north some, after that the tide was too high for anything to break. This stuff is okay, could be worse, but I'm also really ready for some real suf.

Hold up now what is this on the horizon, check out monday into tuesday of next week. Could this be a short lived low with blistering south winds that shoots up the coast.. That would hit the spot right now, hope it holds true.

DANG! u got me! but this is a MB forum BRO! but if you wanna get technical "solid" surf would be defined as consistent and constant, or constantly consistent. outerbanks is neither. it can get a tad heavy at about 8 foot max but its still just sand bars and about the only thing consistent is that the peaks shift and new ones are formed all the time. but growing up in the 843 im sure its like hawaii. so johnny utah, go get on some reef passes,or 100 meter faces then hollatcha boy. i mean ur bro! bra! duuude
