Good footage of Benny, curious where that is in CR , I don't think thats hermosa, doesn't get much better than that. He lit up lowers right after that for the 6.0 victory. Good stuff

 

i saw him surf at his home break at WB and on the good days he's just amazing.

 

it's like he's controlling his speed on the wave with a pedal. super smooth riding... i'm glad a pro surfer is from southern NC.

 

Hope he can do well at the Bay coming up, its his front side so should be interesting, so hopefully he can have a little redemption since Fiji, Try to move on up the WCT ratings.

 

I spend a lot of time down in CR and the first minute of the vid to me looks like Withces, just not on the main peak at the rivermouth. About 600 meters to the south of the rivermouth there is a spot called El Burro which breaks at low tide only when its big, and its shack city.

At about the :58 mark it switches over to Hermosa it looks like.

Could be Playa Negra though, but I think Hermosa, you can kinda see some black sand

 

its not Hermosa or Witches. but it is all in one spot.
