uhh yeah wax is soo expensive nowadays. 1 bar lasts me pretty long i dont like it too tacky.

 

Go make friends at a surfshop, then all your wax is free... Or whenever you make a bigger purchase ask if you can snag a bar of wax, always works for me

 

the real question is - is sex wax really the best wax? i thought it was for tourists.

 

the OG sex wax sucked...ripped your skin off & left rashes for days. the new stuff, "quick humps" is the shizz...i switched to it a few years back from sticky bumps & it stays on way better & is much tackier.

 

i hate the wax these days,it gets all over everything,spreads all around,all over the leash,then,rails,bottom,fin,me,etc..sticky bumps is ridiculous.guys i know in hatteras just use basecoat.please advise

Quick Humps, Sticky Bumps and Mrs. Palmers are the three I'll use, but mainly the sticky bumps. That Magma wax didn't hold up for me, I'd be interested to see what you guys think about Magma. Does anybody use it?

Magma is OK - a lot like Sticky Bumps. A little bonus with that wax is if you have a bunch of half used bars floating around you can tell what temp its good for by checking what color the little specks in the wax are. Also - check what the weight is on the label - some brands give less than others for the same price.

 

magma is sticky bumps with dots and a plastic container....and yes i am dumb. we are dubm all over
