Hey Y'all, Another question: so I have 9' long board and its pretty old, but in pretty good shape. Just a few small dings and scratches. None of the dings are very deep, maybe a cm or two. The nose of the board has maybe a rough part that's dinged up, but not too deep. Maybe an inch or two in diameter. Are these something I need to worry about? Do I need to have them fixed or filled in before I use the board? None of the them are particularly big, but still I want to make sure the board is sea worthy. Thanks! -NTS
If the board is dry you need to make sure to get them fixed so it is watertight, if you have taken it out with open dings recently you need to let it dry out and then fix them, you do not want to seal it up with water inside, that will lead to delamination!
Try not to use SunCure or DingAll...Find someone thats knows about resin research and have them fix it for you. My shop is in Surfside so if your ever here just drop the board off with me and i'll fix her up. I'm not hard to find.
