Friends, ECBB, in partnership with the USBA Tour, is proud to announce the First Annual BODYBOARDING FOR A CAUSE! Charity Bodyboarding Competition and Beach Fest, to take place this August 16-17 (Hold period 8/14-8/17) at Casino Pier in Seaside Heights, NJ. Come rock out with your fellow bodyboarders and support some great causes in the process -- we'll be donating 100% of the proceeds to local and national charities. There will be LOADS of prizes (including boards, fins, shirts, etc.) and giveaways for the contestants and anyone who comes out to watch, and we'll have music pumping on the beach, food, and lots more for you to enjoy! This contest will be fully sanctioned by the USBA, so you can compete for points. Also, riders will have a chance to win the BODYBOARDING IRONMAN competition we'll hold during this contest, to find out who the true all-around bodyboarder/beach athlete is! Because the proceeds are going to charity, we wanted to give everyone the opportunity to get out there and help raise funds (and everyone the opportunity to win some new gear). Similar to a swim-a-thon or walk-a-thon, we have a Rider Entry/Sponsorship Form for you to bring to friends/neighboors/family/employers/local businesses to ask them to sponsor you in this contest.
