First off, im not a kook, but could someone please explain why the chart for sunday at myrtle beach is just above knee high in blue, yet the text to the left is still small scale (ankle high or less) and semi-choppy/sideshore. Any help would be appreciated.

the surf text for sunday at myrtle beach actually says:
Small scale (ankle to knee high) surf.

So, the timeline goes up to knee high and the text is ankle to knee.

As of now, it looks like a lot of SW in the swell direction, so much of the swell energy will bypass the myrtle beach area. Its still early for any certainty, so keep an eye on the updates. If the front drops a little further south, then you could see more southerly fetch rather than SW.

ya, looks like the bermuda high will push further out to see allowing some stronger E/SE fetch to the south (north of puerto rico) - this could lead to some small to moderate trade swell later next week.
