8/29- Best Day Ever?

    I'm not sure about everyone else but monday morning was the best day i had ever surfed and it was the cleanest waves ive seen in NJ in awhile. Barrels peeling left and right, it was like something out of a movie (besides the dirty water..)

    yo... NO trolling allowed. Dang thats sick yall got a real good day after the hurricane. I'd say The best day of surf from the hurricane down here in VB was Friday, the day before it made landfall. There was a 3-4 hour window late morning with almost no wind.

    Thats awesome you guys up north scored. I couldn't get down to the banks after the storm so I surfed vb and it was stomach high at best. And yeah.. Brown water is one thing, that water looked like old engine oil on sunday.

    Monday morn from 5:45 to 8:00 was pretty darn awesome. Best waves i've had since i can remember. Ridiculous glass. Insane wave count that day to boot!!

    I am over my screen name anyway so its the perfect time! jk

    Yeah I surfed Sunday here in VB and was ok SUnday, it was sort of wieird it looked better than it was the west wind was a bit too much for the sets so it was sort weak, line up well but didnt allow for much in the way of performance surfing. I was in the air flying home from Seattle Friday i knew i would miss the best of the swell here.

    friday afternoon sandbridge was pretty good. The wind was out of the SE but I'll take big and scary over waist high and groomed any day

    Good,....yes. Best day ever,....not even close. But I'm also comparing it to the last 25+ years. I saw that footage of the "pros", and it looked good. But I'm pretty sure you all know it gets better than that. But don't get me wrong, it was good.

    I shared a peak w/ Tom Curren and two other guys on Sunday morning in VB. The waves were maaaybe head high faces early morning and super glassy little running barrels. I've never to this day seen anyone surf as good as him in real life, especially on small stuff. I was just pulling into the barrels and trying to keep up and he was just ripping them up. Best Turns Ever.
