    Anybody else on the East Coast getting fun swell? There hasn't been this much fun stuff in VB since last wetsuit season. Cheers

    Nice. Man I was just looking at the Frisco (outer banks) forecast for friday, if it stays that way, it's gonna be EPIC down there. I might have to skip class and go haha

    exactly. if they weren't trying to dig themselves out from under a pile of debris & get their lives back in order, the locals down there would be LOVING this...great surf coming their way & no off islanders can get to it!

    dang it guys. once i leave new jersey you guys get like 2 weeks of straight surf. what the hell? ya know? i come down to unc wilmington and it hasn't been ridable since irene (haven't surfed since SUNDAY!). i barley surfed during the summer because it was so flat in south jersey (i surfed the any swell, even the ankle high days) and its dead flat here. im amping like a 13 year old grom. where da waves at wrightsville?????

    If you want some info on some breaks around there PM me, I spent a year down there and still visit frequently. Where I surfed its rideable almost every day

    WB=surf every day???

    its a 4 mile long beach break with crappy sandbars and has a large continental shelf out in front of it. where could these waves be hiding?

    yeah i'm sure it's like chest high everyday where only the hardcore locals know right man?? nah i just talked to my buddy and he said hes been surfing crystals all week, i just haven't surfed till today because i was relying too much on wblivesurf and they were saying it as ****. i know about masonboro and yada yada yada. Wb is just like my home break in south jersey: shifty and shi**y.

    southends is way better, possibly the best camera on the whole beach. but i was out there as well infront of the hotel. i either ride a blue 8ft foam board or ill be on my 6'1 jimmy keith depending on the swell.

    Headed as far south as I could on Sunday and made it to the north end of the Bonner and thats where they had it closed to everyone. It was setup with the full out Mil Tent, armed guards, the works. Looked like something you would expect for a Zombie apoc. Made the turn there at Ramp 4, locked the hubs, and headed back north on the beach at OI. Found a nice spot and spent the whole day out there. Even towards high tide there was still some decent stuff rolling in. Great way to spend the Labor day weekend.

    Sunday was pretty fun in Nags HEad, after surfing Friday and Saturday MP 19ish with the NE winds on it abnd the waves twice as thick as they were tall- Sunday with the SW winds on it it was definitly much better at loggerhead, but got crowded around noon and later, seems like everyone had been checking access all morning and finally stopped at loggerhead. It was a decent swell though for sure.

    Did Irene create some sandbars in S. Nags Head? Was there in early august, around MP 19ish, it was all shore break from the beach nourishment they had done.
