Visiting VA in August

    Hi, I am going to be visiting the DC/Virginia area in August. Any suggestions on where to surf along the VA/MD coast?

    the best spot in maryland are ocean city inlet. 48th street and 8th street but the waves here are hard to go sideways on

    from DC, your closest beach is ocean city, MD. OC is pretty much one big sandbar, all of which can be good given a decent swell. You will have to deal with surfing beaches when lifeguards are on duty 10:00 - 5:00.

    i was in virginia beach last september, i dont know if you'll be around there but the long jetty at the end (south) was pretty good
