    Plane or the Pilot

My buddy rides a 9'0 canyon, i have rode it before, but neither of us are new to surfing... so if the price is right and ur willing to allow surfing to overcome your entire life, your responsibilities, your relationships than it will be the best board you ever own... I'd surf a piece of plywood if i had to

send a PM to the Swellinfo member - OBlove, he knows all about paddleboards, as he is a competitive lifeguard.

    Canyon

I have a 5'11 canyon 4 fin that i use for the summer. The board is great I've caught Chest high waves with it, and i have caught ankle little ripples with it. The board is super fast and if you go down the line real fast you can hear the air go beneath your board.. As for long boards idk

my first board was a 6'2" canyon swallow tail that i got new for 299....in my experience, they're great boards for beatin the hell out of. i rode it thru noel while watching others snap boards like graham crackers. ive also taken it thru shorebreak and have never come out with more than a minor ding that i could repair with suncure. they can catch anything from ankle-knee chop days to the overhead offshore days. highly recommend it if you're not willing to drop a pretty penny being that you're a beginner
