Was thinking about this on the can today... What is the best/ favorite surf mag these days... I always loved ESM... Have been reading Transworld lately and like it. Havent picked up Surfer or Surfing in years, but was told they kind of suck these days... Thoughts?
I am a surf mag junkie. I have gotten Surfer and Surfing since the 80s and Transworld since the 90s. They all seem to offer something different. I still love Surfer and Surfing is close behind or better occasionally. Transworld is well worth the yearly 12 bucks too. I had Surfers Journal for years...a lil spendy but really a coffee table grade Mag for sure. Get all three. I can't wait to get them every month and you can usually get them for about 10 bucks a year if you got for 2 years....haha. Stoked!
Exactly! Where is it? Surfing, Surfer and Transworld come to my door for free. Usually read them from cover to cover in one sitting (on the crapper). TSJ and TSP are quality magazines with good feature articles and trip stories (not the latest pro boat trip to indo or 8 barnies in a van). Different tastes for different folks.
