So is there a solid answer out there on what off the shelf longboard is most surf like or is it all matter of opinion?
Nevermind, this seems to be a good review of boards being most surf like. http://www.surfscience.com/topics/g...ng-products/skateboards-to-help-your-surfing/
I just came across this video. Its worth a watch
^that video is pretty city/trick oriented, but those guys are awesome. they are both in this video, which is much more hills/freeride that i made. checkkkkk it out- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OW-J2pQrlsw
I have A 2x platinum carbon fiber board w/ some nice wheels, trucks, rides great, REALL SMOTHH, but its worth a pretty penny so if you save up- its worth it .............from sector 9 i might add
Nothing can beat Sector 9's Bamboo series pintail. Ive been riding it for years. Perfect amount of flex and incredible hardware all the way through. Re gripped it 3 times now and rode it down to the deck each time. I probably have more miles on that than on my truck!
Thought this might go along with some of the other sick vids. I'm sure some have seen this before. Not quite longboarding, but every bit as sick. This guy is truly a kook on land. Buggy Rolling!
sidewalk surfin i use my board regularly. it builds yer quads and balance like nobody's bidness...and it's fun. if you have hills, there's an added thrill.....but learn how to slow yerself before you are in a situation that will end painfully. had a logan earth ski with tracker slalom trucks and big red soft sticky wheels in the late 70s......then bones came along and ruined cruising. glad it is back
