you ain't kidding. I live about a 2 minute bike ride from mine, but I've found where it burns the most holes in my wallet is late night.... I'd usually find myself in the morning with an empty carton of phish food ben and jerrys, fruity mentos, raspberry ice tea, and a shortie italian hoagie....all the time. it got bad..
sooo, your telling me that salt and water is fake? hmmm, don't think so. Gatorade is real, I just had some and it did the job “processed or not.” Coconut water is kinda cool, ‘I get the natural thing,’ but it's not going to replenish electrolytes the in the same way; the number one thing depleted is salt! http://forum.slowtwitch.com/cgi-bin/gforum.cgi?post=2458938; check this out; a forum I often visit. The general consensus of tier one and pro triathletes/cross country skiers for the perfect recovery drink is chocolate milk; one of my favorites!
This time of year-----JACK DANIELS and VENISON STEW (Meat killed by myself) Summer-----Doritos and an Ice cold Stella Artois Seriously, after a nice long session, I aint thinking about what is healthy, that's when I usually get whatever I want. During flat spells is when I watch what I eat and drink.
monster protein shake.... 1.5 scoops Gaspari myofusion chocolate flavor 10 ounces of milk handful of ice 1 banana tastes like a chocolate banana milkshake
i tried gatorade prime before a session last week. My stomach was nasty afterwards. I usually drink gatorade all day. Pound one pre and post session, but that new Prime pre activity drink was too syrupy and thick... And the gatorade recover tastes like weigh protein... Im all about the regular gatorade. G2 tastes like sh**. G2 has that synthetic sugar... makes me gag too. The wife drinks it. I dont care if I was dying in a desert, I would not sip that G2 crap.... uhgg
I second this motion. Venison stew is awesome, as long as you put hominy in it, and there better be lima beans too
a mammoth bong hit with ice cubes in the water, a glass of water, and some good tunes. but I'm not allowed to do that anymore and by no means am I advocating it.
I always pack a PB&J to eat post session, or else a giant bowl of cereal when I get home. I don't why but I'm a fan of breakfast food after a good session, maybe because I usually surf in the morning.
Clear water, no salt works best for me, plus I think chicks dig it as it spills from my lips and cascades over my chest and nether region bulges.
