obama has done no good for this country. like i said took bush's big mess, and metastasized it to epic proportions.

he said when he was running if he didn't fix this he doesn't deserve a second term. he pushed that stimulus through and said unemployment wouldn't go above 8%. it went to almost 11%.

if you think he's a lesser of two evils, and hate the gop so be it. i can't stand the gop either myself. i just don't see how anybody can defend him, and say he did a bit of good for anything.

hope you all have health care come 2014 if he's still in. if not you better buy a government plan or be FINED.

It's not like our country is a compact car that can flip a u-turn at the president's bidding. Things are put into motion by one president and it takes lots time, cooperation from both sides of the aisle, and loads of hard work to bring them to a halt and/or turn them into something better. Eight years of Bush equals a TON of damage control on almost every conceivable level -- international relations, economic policy, etc, you name it, the list goes on.

I am disappointed with my previous vote for Obama in 08. Currently, I'm leaning towards Paul. I think the erosion of our civil liberties needs to stop. Our government is far too big and his position of true governmental reduction is appealing.

 

Yes, every president is basically trying to make the executive branch a dictatorship using legislation. The worst piece of legislation is the Patriot Act which we can thank Bush for. It actual makes people think they are more safe when in fact it takes away most liberties and also gives the Executive branch some crazy powers (think dictator powers). Scary stuff.

 

John McCain and Sarah Palin LOST the election. . . get over it.

 

john mccain is an old neo con, and sarah palin is a dingbat. couldn't stand either, and that's why i voted for obama.
