I love how people hate on Brady, he is by far the best QB the league has seen in 15 years easy. You can maybe make an argument for Payton and/or Drew Brees but c'mon you really think Eli or Tebow even stand a chance this playoffs?? My buddy is a diehard Broncos fan and even he admits to hating Tebow.

Don't hate Tebow..hate the fooking MEDIA. They are the ones blowing him constantly. The guy's just a young QB trying to play the game. A good guy, doing lots for charity. He did charitable things before the media started jocking him this season and i'm sure he still will once they're gone. Merle Hodge looked like his head was gonna blow after that Denver win in OT! (watching the talking heads explode is the BEST!!) Plus the media's run by a bunch of globalist elitists (i digress). ......

Id say payton is equal compared to Brady. Possibly better than brady... For example... Brady missed an entire season and the pats still made the playoffs. Payton missed an entire season and the colts lost almost every single game without him.

Interesting point, but in my opinion that says less about the quarterbacks themselves than it does about the job their respective front offices did when searching (Patriots) or not searching (Colts) for a backup QB.

    RAVENS all the way.

Football = Lamest game ever....... well, right next to baseball and basketball.
Why anyone would waste a perfectly good Sunday afternoon sitting in front of their TV is beyond me. But, if you're trying to get fat--that's the best way to do it!

However, if you require vicarious means to attain some sort of perceived status or to feel good about yourself, by all means carry on....

Just because your weren't athletic enough to make your schools sports teams doesn't mean you have to carry it out in your adult years. Baseball is lame? Are you kidding me? Go sit by a campfire and be soulful somewhere else.

People can like football (or not) and it doesn't say anything about their worth as a person. People can "sit by a campfire and be soulful" (or not) and it doesn't say anything about their worth as a person, either. Personally, I like football, but I agree that watching it every Sunday is a bit much and I've skipped several weeks this year for that reason. I also like to sit by campfires and be soulful. Dichotomies exist. It's OK. It might even be healthy...

First, I knew I would get a bite on that bait in short order, lol.

Second, nice attempt at being psychic though. However, I grew up SURFING, sailing, free diving and swimming. I was a varsity swimmer in HS. Guess what--I still do all of the above. Do you still play football acetoneSniffer or just sit on your couch with a bag of chips watching the game remembering the "good ole days"?

Anyway Sniffer, you just illustrated the ridiculous self-indignation as a result of weighing too much into your vicarious life I was attempting to illustrate.

kielsun, good on ya for taking the high ground--you're better at it than I

this sounds like a statement from someone in the glee club or high school band.
Football certainly is not the lamest game ever. Watching football and geting fat... that's kinda lame... But lets face it, some of the best athletes to walk the planet are football players. Also, the game of football is more complex then people care to give it credit for. Its the total embodiment of what has made man what he is today. its aggression, its strength, its strategy and everything else that makes man what he is today... for better or worse.
I played football in high school and a short stint in college... and Im not fat and I catch at least most games during the season. after the season is over... I dont watch much of any other sports or tv for that matter... except family guy. lol.

So what you are saying is that its not possible to surf and be a sports fan? This rant of yours says more about you being a bitter geek than we being able to surf in the morning and than watching some football in the afternoon...oh I'm sorry your too busy free diving...haha
