Finally got a chance to try wetsuit I got a month ago. The RipCurl E-Bomb Pro chest zip. I was never big on RipCurl before cause they never seem to fit me right. This is by far the best suit I ever had. I don't even think I got water inside the thing. It takes a little practice getting in and out of but man I never felt the water at all.

there's a wetsuit review thread you know.....but anyway I have the flashbomb and it's really sick. The only thing I do not like about it is the zipper which tends to "drip"cold water on your chest.....not cool. But on the other hand, the rest of the suit is sick...

Oops shld of went on the wetsuit review thread. My bad! Just happy to get a good suit for good price off Craigslist. Guy only wore it like twice.

How does the zipper drip cold water on your chest?

not directly, but indirectly. since the inner neoprene does not go over your head the water can go over the neoprene and down the suit....

I love my E-Bomb 5.5/4.5. Haven't noticed any "zipper dripping," but I have noticed that it's kept me warm and dry everywhere I've surfed this winter -- from Maryland to Maine.

Ya i still haven't had a chance to try my dang wetsuit out, hopefully this weekend there'll be a little slop chop. Picked up a 4/3 xcel drylock hooded suit in lieu of a 5/4....it was used once but got it for a steal of 169 bucks

I have the E bomb 5 mil as well and it is a very nice suit. Super warm and flexible.

I believe the e-bomb PRO suits may not have taping. At least i've heard some of them (3/2s anyway) are designed for max flexibility...i.e. pros who dont care if the suit is a bit colder and lasts 10 sessions.
