I'm going to nicaragua the end of april. Its 400 bucks to bring boards r/t or 150 a week rental plus excessive cash deposit for NSR. Seems like a no brainer picking the rental but what if it breaks I'm out 800 for some used board. Anybody else go down there recently? what u do?
yeah they are strict with renting i was there 2 weeks ago if you dinged the board u had to buy it $750... it cost me a 100$ to travel with a board each way.. best move is to share a bag and split the cost with a friend
i was in san juan del sur last year and rented boards in town. NSR was the most expensive, the only one with the 800 dollar deposit and had the best boards, the rest of the rental places had decent boards for about 15 bucks a day. not saying one way or the other, just letting u know what your options are over there. have a fun trip!
