    Not bad kind of cloudy

Got in the water around 2:30 in Monmouth some nice shoulder+ sets coming through with light offshore breezes. As I was getting out at 4 with frozen feet the wind was going more North but south-side of Jetties had some nice peaky lefts to be had. Overall it was better then not surfing.

Mostly chest highs with some shoulder sets coming in... It was a blast until the wind suddenly switched north and blew everything out. The warm air temps were definitely a plus.

I surfed today on the east end of LI....shoulder-head high sets detonating on the sandbar, gnarly but dope offshore, super glad I decided to go out.

There was a lot of potential this morning in vb, but the tide was way too high when I paddled out. Should have been out at first light I guess

Long Island finally had a good day. surfed rockaway from 3:30 to about 5:30... so glassy and chest high.

yeah I went out to 1st around 7am and stayed to about 11am. Wasn't too many people out there. Also, it was more of a fish longboard wave

Went out around 4 in sea girt...reminded me of a summer afternoon session...bit disorganized, side shore wind, but peaky. all and all still fun.

Got to chincoteague island and 4. Waves were blown out. A few rare ones i caught, but i had to pump and baby them in order to stay on them. Better then nothing. The winds did switch north as jachard said. I must have not got there early enough.

A seal poked his head out and looked at me for a few seconds. It was pretty awesome.

surf southend WB at 3pm, after the wind got on it. 20-30mph sw/ssw winds. slop. got one freak wave in the chest high wave(biggest wave i saw all day, and i was on it - stoked), did two schwaks off the top in a row and was stoked. heard it was actually fun in WB from 10:00-1:00 though

North jerz got insane from 12-4. Combo swell spitting everywhere. Def a few head high bombs. Very bowly and glassy. Surfed completely alone. What a waste of so many good waves going unridden.

I hear ya, in my case, I have a better chance of getting off early than coming in late, so dawn patrols are limited.

I went during the afternoon and there were some thigh high peelers left just as the tide was starting to go out. A nice beach day overall, but I wish I could've been on it in the morning.
