So Lib Tech is releasing their line of surfboards before summer: http://www.lib-tech.com/waterboards/ Anyone have any more information on these, besides the same Youtube video of Mike Olsen pitching them. Would love to hear some new info or opinions on these, the materials and craftsmanship look great, but I'm a bit skeptical on the shapes. What do you guys think? For $700 I can go get a new JS or sick local shaped stick, not sure if it's worth it to satisfy my curiousity...
The materials and construction seems really interesting, completely different from any other boards out there. I read an article about them a while back on the Transworld website: http://business.transworld.net/85257/features/lib-tech-cofounder-mike-olson-on-new-surf-line/. I would be interested to hear how they go and their durability, although for $700 I will definitely not be buying one.
