for my area, tomorrows going to be one of the only good days this week after last weeks flat spell so im looking to go out.

problem is, im not really prepared for this warm air temp (80s) and water temp (low-mid 50s) for this time of year.

I have 5/4 hyperflex amp hooded and 3/2 xcel infiniti, not exactly sure which to take out.
Got 3mm and 5mm booties, so that's not a problem but 7mm mitts =\, will i need gloves? not sure exactly what to do

easy fix broheim. take the 3/2 and the 5mm booties...i have never had my feet too warm that it is uncomfortable. and the 3/2 will be nice in the warm air temps. 5/4 will be just crazy hot and literally sweating. and yeah no gloves you will be fine, but you can always bring them if you feel you may need them.

The bigger question is how you are going to go back in time to 2011...
Hopefully McFly has his 4/3 and is ready to rip.

Lol all the guy was doing was asking a question about a wetsuit and he gets flamed. I agree with super fish, its better not to sweat lol

got a possible waist high tomorrow, which isn't huge but that doesnt mean it can't be fun for a cpl hours. rest of the week is looking rough/choppy but strong chest potential. at some areas it may be good

Getting ready to paddle out near Berkeley Avenue in LBI. Waves are waist high and glassy right now.....I surfed in a 3/2 with 3mm booties yesterday afternoon and was very comfortable.

Won't need them... but might want them. Even though it only hurts for the first 5 minutes, I have a sweet pair of 2mm 5-finger gloves I wear 'till it hits, like, 60.

totally agree- i hate numb hands
Im totally over trying to be cool... being the first guy out with the least amount of rubber... I rather surf longer
4/3- old old 7mm leaky boots and 3mm gloves
What we REALLY need is some sizable waves before the summer crowd hits...

Water temp hits 50=no gloves until I got those 2mm five fingered that lb talked about now I wear them! But whe I only had my winter lobster claws my hands would get so hot I would suffer through the numbing first few mins then be fine

Doubt it. I'd be happy with chest to shoulder high and semi-clean combined with a day that I actually have time to paddle out at this point...

Seems like the stars have to align for me to get out there these days...

Story of my life. Sometimes I feel like I should probably see a therapist to get over the depression

You're not the only one man. So many swells lately have only had little windows where the wind cooperates and I can never seem to get on it. I'm always free either before or after the cleanup but can never seem to catch it just right. So frustrating...
