this past tuesday and wednesday wore a 3/2 with 5mm booties, no gloves or hood and was really comfortable with air temps, 70s at the time on LBI

 

been goin with a 3/2, boots, and gloves (no hood) for 2 weeks now. its a little chilly at first, but 10 minutes into paddling it feels great. It's amazing to finally be able to go without a hood, even tho my eardrums are paying the price :/

..kidding, surfed Long Island a few days ago with a 3/2 and 5mm boots, no gloves or hood, and felt fine.

i wore my 4/3 yesterday. the water temps are around 57-60 down here. towards the end of my session i started getting hot. but i think i will try a 3/2 next time.
