Watching the Brazilians surf (especially ADS) makes me wonder if they are somehow related to crabs....
You mad bros? ADS may not have the flow down fully, but he rarely gets overscored. Parko gets fcking overscored every comp imo.
I don't think Parko gets over scored. If you think he gets more points for doing the same maneuvers as someone else, it's probably because he links them together so effortlessly (flow). If anything, he probably gets underscored on occasion for making it look too easy.
I agree, Joel Parkinson is one of my favorite surfers. His moves are so smooth and fluid, and he does big radius carves and powerful looking turns. He's due for a title for sure, which I hope can happen this year cus he's getting up there in age. I don't get all the Brazil hate, although the nationals do not really have an aesthetically pleasing way of surfing. But the location looks so ideal, with beautiful scenery, especially on the beach . Maybe it's just cus they always keep the slums off the panned out shots, but overall the place looks beautiful. I'd love to visit and surf there someday.
