    Not till June

Been in 3/2 here in New Hampshire. Water about 50. Once it hits 60, the trunks are out.

Saw some guys trunking it in Monmouth County on Saturday. Didn't look too comfortable. 3/2 w/ no boots or gloves was fine.

    keepin the plums warm...

still in my warm rubber. water inched up to low 60's for a day or two but dropped to high 50s again last week. surrounded by dolphins riding waves and porpoising back out to the outside set. saw a pastey fat guy from minnesota or some other hellacious landlocked icebox out there spongin in his boardies. looked cold. meanwhile, some girl claims a 12 ft shark took a chunk outa her yellow paddleboard off of catalina a week or so back.

Just got my daughters' 3/2s, but didn't buy the boots and gloves for them. They were busting my stones when I grabbed the boots so I went bootless. I hate peer pressure.

I'm in a 1 mil top in VB with trunks. Yesterday felt great once I paddled around for a minute. It was a little chilly last week though.

Yes, it's 3/2 time! Keeping the boots until someone in the lineup says they're feet aren't cold with out them. Let them figure it out for me.

In OCMD I ditched the 3 mil booties/gloves and have been in my 3/2 for a few weeks now. After this AM's session I think I'll try my 2/2 springsuit, which is what I tend to stay in throughout the summer. The 3/2 was justa bit too warm. I also saw a guy out in boardshorts and a t-shirt today. He said he was warm enough with the sun but with the fog this AM I bet it was chilly.

i'm usually able to put trunks on in late may. by memorial day weekend. the last week or so the water is still a little cool maybe 60. a little bit cooler than it was the last 2 years at this time. i'm hoping to ditch the boots when i go out tomorrow. can't complain too much. in 09 i think it was? about 3 years ago i couldn't trunk it until late june. that year we had a way below average spring all the way until july. i couldn't even lose the trunks till like june 20th or something. maybe closer to the 25th. 23rd or something it sucked.
