Yup... was really fun too. Waist high and clean. Some bigger sets on the incoming. Best part... took two 9-year-old girls out for the session of their young lives. Their stoke was palpable. Best day of the summer so far.
I surfed Thur and Fri. Both days were soft knee high ish. I borrowed an 8'0'' soft top (daily driver is a 5'10') and had a blast playing like a kid. I rode most of the waves switch to keep it interesting. Its pretty cool when you can have that much fun in mediocre surf, you just need to change your mind set. I’ll do it again today if the ocean permits it.<br />PS: MTV sucks rotten dinosaur balls and needs to be eradicated. More on that later.<br />
Haven't surfed in like 3.5 weeks. wtf? As much as I love summer and warm water...what's the point? NO WAVES!, just a bunch of benny's driving around with boards on their cars. Ugh....I can't wait for October! Yes I said it....the annual bit(h fest about summer flatness begins! I checked it this morning. What a freaking joke. Bunch of kookmeyers floating around. AAAAAAARGH!!
