hey buddy this dry spell is called summer.happens every year for aslong as iv been alive.i dont base my life around surfing, because liven on the east coast,u dont surf everyday.im fortunate enough to have a coworker who has a house in costa, whos nephew is a pro surfer, and my brothers wifes father lives in panama, and i have an aunt out in orange county.i only get to surf a few times a year, with work cuz im always busy.iv been surfing since 07 and others probly say i surf great, but im still a kooky grom!! try fishing.sit on the beach with a 12 pack or some soco, relax listen to the sea ,and hope you get a bite!! cheers
dude, i think my soul just cried.. a few times a year??? Just go jump in front of a car or something bro. End the misery already..
he reminds me of that guy who was on here bragging about how much $$$ he makes & how he kicks locals @$$es or some such. comical, really.
"i only get to surf a few times a year, with work cuz im always busy.iv been surfing since 07 and others probly say i surf great, but im still a kooky grom!!" yaeh man u probly r da best surfr arond! u shuld get bak 2 werk cuz u so busay!
The easiest way to beat the summer bordem is to simply not allow yourself to get bored. "100% pure adrenaline, some guys snort a line for it, jab a vein for it, all you gotta do is jump." Bodhi- Point Break LMAO!!! http://youtu.be/W0S59iyWyBE
Hate to say it, but it not just the E. Coast. I've watched the cams in Puerto, Hawaii, and Cali very closely the last few months and overall i'd say it's been rather flat and garbage, with the exception of a few days here and there (South Shore has been ok, and certain spots in Cali have been ok, but overall not so much). If you really want consistent surf this time of year head to El Salvador, that place seems to ALWAYS have good waves (at least the last few months), it seems every day is 3-8ft and cleeeeeean.
i will put money on the table to any of u kooks who want to have a surf battle.i surf a few times a year because i live 100 miles from the beach, retards!!!i see how much surfin u guys do always on the internet lol.i surf a few times a year and im still sponsored,i still get around to surf places u will never see.save the gossip for your boyfriends,u guys are haters lol.i bet u kooks surf everyday and il still blow u out the water.any day,any time, any swell, money on the table.feelin lucky shoot me a message

The remedy for dry-spells in my opinion is to own and use two different longboards: A longboard surfboard—a seriously big old log for the tiny little crummy stuff. I surf at least twice a week even when it's crummy. Usually I can find a really shallow bar where the little stuff is breaking. And what makes it better, when I went the other day there were fun tiny little ankle slappers and nobody was on the beach at all . . . Great time. Many times it's only flat because you allow yourself to think it's not worth going out. In my opinion when others say it's too flat and not worth it, it usually is worth it . . . to me at least. A longboard skateboard for the real flat days. Go for a cruise through the park and bomb some hills and feel that awesome acceleration through turns that we all live for. Have fun. It's really only flat if you let it flatten your spirit!
