and you win. saw something under a swaylocks thread but couldn't really find it once I clicked the link
Thx superfish, yea I did some research.not much info....somebody shaped this prob. In 70s,cuz I'm 42 and I've had it over 20 yrs. When I got it ,it looked "aged".I've had some fun on it over the yrs..just interested in its history before me....thx for lookin out.
pre 1975 for sure, no leash plug, show me pics of the bottom please? also it is most likely a back yarder or small manufacturer with no man board, you can see uneven pinlines and wobbles in the pin lines. more pics please
Thx Arc,I will try and take more pics and show you.......pin lines look good but....leash "plug" is on skeg.Old skeg. Bottom is discolored from all the little dings and water seepin in....the presure dings look like reef or stone "injuries".like the ones I used to get on Maui.not beachbreak. ....wate ver. Ill getu some pics...but yea prob small kind shaper in late 60's made it just gotta find who,where.....
the pin lines do look good, but i can see clear places where the pinlines are off or mis sized compared to the other side of the board, which makes it unique and handshaped. i am not saying it is a bad thing, just saying it has more error than say jim phillips.
