Hey all---Me and another buddy are planning a trip down to central america at the beginning of August for about 10 days. Is there a big difference in wave quality (specifically waves for bodyboarding) between the two places? We'll be going down primarily to surf...anybody have any opinions?

EDIT: I guess I should also mention that this'll be our first central america trip.

    Thanks!

i've been there once and stayed at the surf sanctuary, which is not currently on the Swellinfo rentals list. I liked it there a lot. You wont be able to travel by foot to many breaks, but you can have them take you on boat trips for the day and get around to different breaks.
