Russ contacted me and was interested in a board and after having him come to my shop and telling me what he wanted I came up with this new design for him. Russ wanted it to look like wood so I did a wood tint color with a double cut lap and high gloss. The dims are 6'8" x 22" x 3" with retro look and the rest is high performance.
    Peajay I'm Tom

Thanks for the comments.I've been wanting a single fin for quite some time now.I didn't see anything I fell in love with so I got together with Mahady and he spent a couple days on this shape. Its half lighting bolt and half egg.I wanted something with a brown tint for that woodgrain look.Tom hit a home run with it.Mahady keeps you in the loop from beginning to end.Ater he's finished shaping he wants you to check it out, when its time to throw on the tint he wants you to pick it.I was telling him last night in ths last 2 and a half weeks we texted each other about 200 times.Thats what you want from your board builder.

Tom if you still have those 2 pictures of the board standing in your shop I think thats a good shot of it,maybe you can throw those pics up.

    Thanks-Russ

Cool looking board. In what kind of waves do you plan on surfing it?

I'd pay lots of money for a board that accomplished that :)

Darippah,I hear what your saying.I just feel when you get a new board you have to have an open mind and try the board in every condition to see what works with it and what doesn't.
